? about DAD photos

Did all of you who did this do the photos yourself? Did anyone go to studio?

Also does your Husband have a desk at work? I was thinking of doing this but my hubby works for an oil company and doesnt have a desk but I mean I could do a variation (small one) for his work truck and then one for the house... what do you think  

also what color letters did you use I found white ones and brown ones

    I just took the pictures myself. I ordered him a frame that I uploaded the pics into. He does have a desk at work sorry no help there. I got wooden letters and painted them a metallic silver.

    My dad has a nice camera & I asked him to take the photos.

    He's a SAHD right now but typically works constrution so no desk either way.  I figure he can display it somewhere in our home, on the wall, shelf, wherever.

    I bought the white letters.  I didn't paint them.

    The one from last year is hanging on our wall at home in the hallway. I just got the white letters and did nothing to them.

    I'm taking the pics myself.

    DH doesn't have a desk, so the pics will just be hung at the house, but a small version for his truck is a good idea.  You can upload them to Picnik.com and make them into a small collage to print-so you don't have 3 individual pics to deal with. 

    I almost bought the natural wood ones from Michael's and was going to paint them, but then I found the white ones and they were bigger.  I'm not painting them.
