Hopefully that question makes sense.
Ben and I sing songs before bedtime and he tells me which song to sing next. He asked me to sing Messy Grapes. I told him I didn't know the words and asked him to sing it but he insisted that I sing it. So I told him I really didn't know that song and in my mind I was all set to Google Messy Grapes when he was asleep so I would know it next time.
Anyway, we continue to sing and I started singing Amazing Grace. He was excited and said "Messy Grapes!" I thought that was pretty darn adorable.
I did feel bad for telling him I didn't know that song though ![]()
Re: What is the cutest thing your child has messed up lately?
Haha! That is SO cute!
I can't think of any right off hand, although I'm sure there are some. I need to start writing that kind of stuff down. :-)
That is adorable!
I'm not sure if this counts, but I was doing 30 Day Shred with Liam the other day, and he looked at Jillian Michaels and said "Uh oh, Mommy, she's not dressed! She not have a shirt on!" LOL
That counts
How funny!
I love it! Those are great!
We have 2 children's Bible story board books--one is yellow one is blue. Keira refers to them as "blue Jesus and yellow Jesus"! It cracks me up every time!
That is really funny!
DH and I were cracking up all weekend over the "Hi little guy!" fly story.
This is the only thing I can think of...
We were sitting eating dinner and the ice maker clunked some ice down. Caleb looked around the kitchen, then directly at DH and said "Excuse YOU!" We about died laughing.
lol, that is a good one
LOL, that is absolutely adorable!! I'd kinda feel bad too once I figured out he was talking about Amazing Grace, but it's funny still!
This is going to be me one day, I do typically say "Oh, crap!" I also say something like "That sucks!" I will be kicking myself one day when I hear it repeated, I am sure.
