PCOS ladies

I have not posted here in ages, but was hoping I would get more responses, so I hope you don't mind me asking a question. :-)

For those of you with PCOS, how long was it before you got your 1st PP period?

With DS, I had it 20 days before he turned 1...I am sure it was a combo of BF/PCOS.

DD will be 1 in 4 weeks, and I still haven't seen anything yet.

Is there ever a point that you get to if you haven't gotten it that you should call the doc?  I opted out of any birth control and did the same with DS.

    Caroline was a little over 9 months old...I was still BF a LOT, and wasn't on metformin any more.

    If you are still BFing, I wouldn't worry too much about it.  Lots of women don't get it back until they wean completely.

    My DD is just over 6 months and I have been done BF for a little over a month and no PP yet.

    I went in for my annual appt when DD was 5 mos old. I had been fully done BFing for about a month by then, and my NP with the OB/GYN said that I likely wasn't going to get it on my own (I haven't gotten AF on my own since I was 16), and she gave me provera.

    I FF, and 1st AF was when LO was 3months and again at 5 1/2 months old. Pretty close to my norm.

    I think at least 6 weeks after she self-weaned at 15 months.

    I BFd for a month, and mine magically appeared around 4 months PP. I was tickled to death to get a second PP AF again this month!! I hope she keeps coming. Now I have to re-think BC, though. I really dont want to get back on it, but if my body is actually going to function properly for once, I might just need to...
