The thing is SOLID and has super duper side impact protection. It starts at 27 inches and 20 pounds and is the last one you'll ever need for your child.
Graco MyRide 65. The buckles are really quiet (they weren't so much on our infant car seat), it fits perfectly snugly so I know that sucker's not budging, and it's so eays to use. Yesterday I adjusted the shoulder straps to go up a notch, and it took me all of ten minues to take the carseat out of the car, adjust it, and put it back in. DS loves the cupholders, which at the moment house some toys- he can grab them when he wants and they stay out of the way when I want them to. Great car seat!

Evenflo Triumph 65. We love it. I love that you don't have to take the seat out and remove the harnesses to adjust it. The harnesses just slide up and down. If for some reason DD1 had to go in it all I'd have to do is slide the harnesses up. Super easy.
DD2 will be able to be RF'ing until 40lbs and in a 5 pt harness until 65lbs and then we can just get a best positioning booster.
