haha, i never knew there was more than one way to pronounce it!
LOL I know, right?
I learned it "cray-on", but I have some cousins who all pronounce it "crown" (how do you even get that from a word spelled c-r-a-y-o-n???) and I've heard others say it that way every once in a while so it must not be just them.
And then I heard someone - an American - say "craan" the other day and it caught me by surprise...she said that was how everyone she knew said it (she's from the East coast - maybe it's regional?).

I know a bunch of people who say "crown" and it drives me nuts.
It won't let me vote on this anymore, but I'm the one weirdo that pronouces it "crown"! ahaha...Not sure if it's cause I'm a Texan or what, just always said it that way.
My hubby says "cran" like cran-berry. It drives him nuts too that I say it "crown".

This is my post above. For some reason I have 2 very simliar accounts (I guess one is under an old email!)

I'm in the craan camp, maybe with the tiniest hint of the Y in there, but definitely not much, maybe more of a cra-on?? DH clearly says CraY-ON.
