LOL I know, right?

I learned it "cray-on", but I have some cousins who all pronounce it "crown" (how do you even get that from a word spelled c-r-a-y-o-n???) and I've heard others say it that way every once in a while so it must not be just them.

And then I heard someone - an American - say "craan" the other day and it caught me by surprise...she said that was how everyone she knew said it (she's from the East coast - maybe it's regional?).

I'm in the craan camp, maybe with the tiniest hint of the Y in there, but definitely not much, maybe more of a cra-on?? DH clearly says CraY-ON.

It won't let me vote on this anymore, but I'm the one weirdo that pronouces it "crown"! ahaha...Not sure if it's cause I'm a Texan or what, just always said it that way.

My hubby says "cran" like cran-berry. It drives him nuts too that I say it "crown".

haha, I think it would drive me nuts to hear someone say "crown" or "cran" !!!
