Eleanor has slept like a dream since the day she was born. Only twice in her life has she ever been up more than once a night. I put her down at 7pm, she wakes up once to eat, and is up for the day around 7:30am. Like clockwork.
Until tonight. We moved her from the RNP into the pack-n-play bassinet and she's been up every thirty minutes crying for the pacifier. As soon as I put it back in her mouth she's out again, but it could be a long night if I have to replace that damn paci every 30 mins.
I know she'll adjust, but I just hate these kinds of transitions (and I hate messing with a good thing, but she definitely can't stay in that RNP forever).
And tomorrow we're supposed to move Henry to his big-boy room. ugggggggggghhhhh
UPDATE: after a rocky start, she actually did GREAT! She settled down after a couple of hours and slept like a rock. Now I get to stress about Henry's move tonight!
Re: I hate change
I fight change.
Paige is still in her crib and my twins stayed in their swings in our bedroom until they were 5 months.
I can dig my heels in the mud with the best of 'em!
I hope Eleanor does better tonight than you are anticipating!!
I am too scared to move Delaney from her RNP to her crib for the same reason. She sleeps great, amazing even, and I'm worried that removing the swaddle and/or moving her to a flat surface like the crib is going to be a difficult transition.
Good for you for making the move!

The only reason I'm moving her is she's a pretty big baby and seems a bit uncomfortable in the RNP now. She tries to move around in it but can't.
Ava is still in a cradle in our room. We haven't set up her crib yet (we just got it the other day and need to put it together). I am not looking forward to that transition.
