TTC #2 Calling the RE Tomorrow

Sadly-I was really hoping it wouldn't come to this but I know that if I want to get pregnant again we have to go back sooner rather than later. This is our second cycle off BCP, I O'd the last cycle but I am unsure what's going on with this one (I think FF has it wrong personally).

It's been three years since we did anything at all. Ladies who went back for a second go round did you have to re-do all the testing? I had an HSG 3 years ago- will they make me do another do you think? I'd like to avoid that if possible. I was dx with PCOS (my tubes and everything were fine then) and got pregnant on 1500mg met and 50mg clomid on our first medicated cycle (I was also put on progesterone suppositories 7dpo until 9wks).

I honestly doubt they remember us at all (probably a good thing) so I have to think about how I want to approach it. Thanks for any support.

Since I had frozen embryos it was pretty straightforward...and we moved so it was a new RE. They re-did my Day 3 b/w, but other than that, we just started cycling for the FET. Just like riding a bike.

I had an ectopic in december and lost a tube so my RE did order another HSG to ensure the tube I had left was good. Then I jumped right back on with Metformin 750mg and Clomid 100mg. Got pg first cycle

I had to redo everything, even the HSG. But I did start up with the same protocal that gave us baby M (a combo iui cycle) rather than just starting with the clomid again.

Yay for going back for #2! I'm sorry it had to come to that:( I'm calling RE tomorrow too!!! I'm so excited, I knew we had to go back so I'm just excited! It's been a while for me too, my dd is only 3 months older

We knew we would do IVF again. We had to do another mock transfer and day 3 blood work, but that was it.

RE had me do everything again. I am glad I did, he found a mucous plug in one of my tubes that wasn't there the first time, and was able to clear it. Good luck!

DH and I are also ttc #2. We had to redo bloodwork, DH's SA and I had a sonohysterography to check my uterus which I am glad they did because he found polyops that we not there the first time. Good Luck!!

I did an FET a few months ago (about 2 years since last treatment) and I needed a Saline sono to make sure my ute looked good as well as CD 3 bloodwork. We will go right to IVF and at my consult he said I didn't need a HSG but if you are going to do clomid I would assume they'd want to make sure your tubes are still open. Good luck!

ETA: DH also had to give a sample for a SA.

We re-did the routine bloodwork but I did not have to re-do any of the other test (like they HSG). My last one was about 3 (3 1/2, maybe) years ago also.

We did the same protocal that got us pregnant the last time since we knew what worked. I was very surprised that they all remembered me. And I felt bad, actually becuase I never sent pics of DS... LOL

ETA: We figured we might need intervention, again so I ust went straight for it when felt we were ready.
