I bought some Aveeno baby cream last week and DS' excema is almost gone and his skin is softer than ever. No more J&J or Huggies lotion. I was slathering that stuff on after every diaper change and his skin was still dry and scaly. I just wish I would have gotten the Aveeno sooner.

Yea, I was told JandJ or huggies lotions or any other "baby" lotions weren't moisturizing at all. They were just for the smell basically.

I love using aquaphor before bedtime and the heat from his jammies makes him all soft in the morning.

yep...that's all I use. We use the bath soap and the baby lotion.

oh I didn't know Aveeno had a bath wash... I may have to look into that! With winter coming up, I may want to switch to a lotion I can actually put on him in the mornings/ after baths, not just at night before bed.

the thing I love about it is about 1 minute or less after you put it on it's absorbed already. It's not greasy or slick.

well it works better than the J&J name brand.

Nabisco makes tons of products, it doesn't mean they're all the same.

We used to use Aveeno, but our pedi recommended plain Vaseline, slathering it on head to toe (I do arms, belly, legs) 4 times a day. It sounds gross, but works (and is a lot cheaper:))
