NTR: What color shoes would you wear with a red dress?

I only fit in one dress and it's red. We have a wedding next weekend. I need to get shoes with a low-ish heel so I am trying to decide what color...

I would go with black. It's the easiest. If you went with red, you'd be stuck trying to find a really good color match which could be difficult. Plus you'll have a lot more options in style with black shoes.

Usually black, but if it has any white detail on it, the right white shoe might work. Depending on the dress, a nude shoe might work too.

Not to knock others' style, but please go with nude or gold/metallic. No black. Unless it's a killer dress with killer black shoes, it could look... old ladyish.

A great pair of modern, nude shoes are a fantastic investment and would look great with a red dress!

Yes I am worried about black in summer. I have a few black pairs that would be okay, but I thought they might look too "hard/harsh" for summer... But I was wanting to see if everyone voted black!

This. I would avoid black. See if you can find a shoe color that matches your skin tone. It will make your legs appear longer while black will cut you off.

this. I got a pair of muted gold (kind of champagne) heels for a wedding this summer tha looked great. I tried on my black shoes with a red dress and realized what pps have said-- it looked old.
