Major baby fever but DH is DONE

We are incredibly blessed beyond words and lately I have been getting the itch.  DH is done, done and done.  I am, of course, assuming we'd be able to get pg since I am almost 39 and we are oop - we wouldn't seek treatment again.  (29 cycles including 3 IVF's and 2 losses for #1 and 4 cycles on our own for #2)  Anyone successful in changing your DH's mind?

    Well, I have not had to change DH's mind, but I am pretty sure if I had 2 under two, I would need to give him some time before I could go back for more ; ) Maybe give it a few months and see how you both feel then.

    I am sort of dealing with this now, but I have a unique situation. After we got pg we banked 2 fresh sperm samples and even though my DH doesnt want anymore kids- I managed to get him to agree to use them. Its been hard, because in the core of my soul I want another child. We have had many converasation, some ending with tears about it. we can totally finanically handle another child, so thats not the issue. I think after many months of discussing it, he finally started to understand how much this means to me.

    Agree with PP, maybe he just needs a little time. Hard to do when the clock's ticking, I know. Hope he comes around soon ((hugs))

    My DH always said he wanted us to have 6.  Then a few weeks after DS was born said he was done with 1.  He's starting to act like maybe he might consider letting us have another at some point.  He is definitely not sold on the idea yet though.  If we had 2u2 I am not sure there is anything under the sun that could convince him that we need more.

    Thanks girls.  DS2 is 2 yrs and 5 days now so no longer 2U2!!  Seriously though, it bothers me that DH''s main reason is financial.  At this stage, we can definitely afford a 3rd.  I keep throwing subtle hints but honestly I don't think he will change his mind but after we conceived on our own I guess anything is possible!
