Hi girls..just wondering if anyone is trying to get their DHA from food rather than in pill form? I don't eat fish, so I'm not sure if this is realistic for me, but I figured I could load up on walnuts and eggs?
I know with my first pregnancy my OB said that if the DHA pill was making me feel sick that I didn't have to take it. So if that is the reason behind you trying to get it somewhere other than the pill...ask your OB if this might be an option. Good Luck
I checked that out too. I guess I will be trying to add some salmon and a little tuna in with the eggs and walnuts. Wondering if anyone know who much fish/ eggs we'd need to eat to get enough DHA versus avoiding fish for mercury.

There are some DHA supplements made from algae instead of fish. According to the reviews on amazon they don't result in fishy burps. I think I'm going to try them because I loathe fish.
