FP Rock n' Play - washable?

I know there's a bit of a debate around the fisher price rock n' play sleeper.  I have the chance to pick a used one up for a great price.  But I'm wondering if the fabric comes off the frame for washing?  I looked on the FP website and it mentions a "washable insert" but I'm not sure if that's just one small piece?

    Yes, it's fully washable. The fabric area is all one piece that just velcros and snaps on. I just washed ours last week. I let it air dry.

    I got one yesterday from my aunt and it's used also. My mom is washing it in her dishwasher since I do not have a dishwasher lol. There is a cardboard like piece in it that could be messed up if put in the washer or dryer.

    ?  Maybe mine is a different year/model (bought new in 2010), but I don't remember anything like that.  I just popped the fabric cover off the frame (everything hard stayed attached to the frame) and ran it through the wash. Trust me, nothing got messed up :-)

    FYI - on the version that I ended up with, there was a fabric piece that could be removed to be washed.  But there was another fabric piece underneath (covering some sort of hard plastic piece) that could not be removed.  I ended up washing the part I could and will hand wash the part that can't be removed.
