New excuse to avoid naptime

So, this is what he said to me yesterday because he was fighting falling asleep. Mind you, he is nowhere near dropping naps altogether because when he doesn't take one, it's not a pretty sight.

"Mommy, I'm afraid of the dark."

The curtains and blinds were open, and even though it was raining, it was anything but dark in his room. Where does he get these things? I couldn't help but chuckle.

And 5 minutes after that, he was asleep for the next 3 hours.
