Is there a thread that has all of the abbreviations listed? I am new and haven't a clue what some things mean. HELP! lol

  • Perinatologist also known as maternal fetal specialist. 

    Perinatologist: An obstetrical subspecialist concerned with the care of the mother and fetus at higher-than-normal risk for complications.

    VBAC : Vaginal Birth After C Section

    That's for Mom's that have had a C section and now want to attempt their next child Vaginally, which is higher risk.

  • Did you mean VBAC?  If so, it's in The Bump's glossary and means:

    VBAC - Vaginal birth after caesarian

  • I am so glad you asked about the abbreviations because I am fairly new here and I was getting lost as well.  Some I could figure out, but others I had no clue.  I was getting ready to post the same question.  Thanks ladies for letting us know where to find the information!  I'm looking at the list now and they all make more sense!  Smile
