Discount for baby's plane tix?

I was reading on the FAA website that some airlines offer half priced tickets for flights. Has anyone ever gotten one or did you pay full price?

    Long-haul we have always gotten half-priced tickets for 2 and under, 3-12 has always been a discounted price, not quite half-priced though.

    We flew Allegiant out of Lexington to Florida, and paid regular price for Ethan when he was 2 years, 2 months.  Their airfare prices are great though :)

    We've flown Delta, American, and Continetnal since Griffin turned 2 and we've always had to pay full price for him.

    Air France, Cathy Pacific, British Airways, Delta, American Airlines and United.  Like I said though they were long haul.
