Recommend your Green Cleaning Products

I'd like to start using more environmentally friendly cleaning products.  I'm especially interested in products to clean the bathroom and kitchen.

    Baking soda and vinegar. Sounds crazy but the combo is the best cleaning product I have ever used. DH and I both clean professionally so we have tried almost everything.

    I use 7th Gen for just about everything.  Too lazy to make my own.  ;)  Sometimes I do buy Method, but not often.

    Second vote for baking soda and vinegar combo...it foams! 

    I use bac-out by BioKleen (greencupboard or amazon sell it in a 5 gal bucket!) to clean diapers and other smelly laundry items (instead of laundry soap, add a cup of vinegar if you have yeast issues).

    ohh what does vinegar do the help with yeast issues? DH is prone to candida

    I use 50/50 vinegar/water solution as a multiple purpose cleaner. To clean the oven I use baking soda & vinegar ( rinse thoroughly after scrubbing), I also use baking soda & vinegar instead of Drano to clean out clogged drains. I use rubbing alcohol to make my mirrors and chrome shine :)

    And I use a combo of vinegar, water, and Dawn or Ivory dishsoap to mop the floors.

    The Shark Steam Cleaner is AMAZING for cleaning too! I use it to clean the shower, counters, etc.

    I personally love the Shark! I steam everything. I also use Method Cleaners. For laundry dtergent I like Charlie's Soap.
