Those who use a Trim Style razor (TMIish)

Ok, this might be TMI, but it's driving me nuts. 

A few days ago (Monday maybe) I used the trimmer side and did some ladyscaping. Well, DH and I had sex three times since then and now I am REALLY itchy. I'm wondering if it's either a yeast infection or trimmed hair that got inside me.

Is there a way to figure out which? None of our local stores have that Vagisil Screening Kit. I guess you could say there's a odor, but I don't have a sore or 'rough spot' like I used to when I'd get a YI.

    I don't use this razor but I do experience some irritation sometimes when I shave. But the odor part is what gets me...It sounds like it could be something more than just irritation. I'm sorry I really don't have any advice other than I would track down a screening kit if there is any way possible. If not, I'd call the dr. tomorrow. GL!

    I just started using a trimstyle a few weeks ago, so far I have not had any problem with the trimmed hair making me itchy. I agree you should probably test for a YI. In the time being a sprinkle of Goldbond medicated powder may help if it is just chaffed and irritated.

    I use it and it does sometimes cause a little itchiness, but its usually short-lived and only surface itching...not you know, ahem, inside itching. Its not good to use those OTC YI treatments constantly, but I'd say as long as you're not doing that to just go ahead and get one to see if it helps since you don't have access to a screening kit easily. If it doesn't go away after using a YI tx, then I'd say call your Dr.

    Lol thanks everyone! I feel stupid for having to ask, you'd think I would know what's up down there. I picked up some cream when I was out looking for the kit, so I'll just use that for a while I guess.
