If you could plan your ideal GTG for next year or beyond....

What would it be? Where? When? Who would you want to meet?
I would love an Orlando GTG. That way I could bring DH and the LO(s?) and DH wouldn't even mind, there'd be plenty of kid AND grownup friendly stuff to do, lots of hotels at all price points, plus I have family there so could kill 2 birds with one stone. March/April so it would be a nice escape to warmer weather.
Second choice would be TX b/c I've never been to Dallas or Austin and DH's family is in Houston (see above).
There are so many I'd want to meet I hesitate to try and list and leave someone out so if I don't name you please don't be offended! Off the top of my head, besides those I've already met at prior GTGs, I'd love to hang out with GypsyEsq,GuotaristsGirl, JGirl2005, LucyP, Davez, Yankee, LVBlvd, Jillrock, Emmyloustu, CMM05, Dana316, crystalgirl, marcuej...and SO many others! I want to meet you all!

beaches, food, lots to do..eat and drink. (plus it is a short drive for me and I know people in the area that I could stay with)
IDK who I would want to meet. I guess I would most want to meet those that wanted to meet me hehehe.
Hmmm, maybe Chattanooga? It is a small enough town that all of downtown is easy walking. Lots of stuff for kiddos to do, and a great spa at the Chattanoogan for the grown ups.
Oh, and Schmoodle? When we GTG next year, make sure that Toodle is in need of a hair cut, okay? His curls are sooo stinking cute, and I want to see them in all their glory
hmm, well, chicago is my first choice, but i guess that won't happen for a while since it was there last year.
i think my first choice would be NYC. airfare is cheap, obviously TONS to do (although admittedly nothing is cheap once you get there). and i have lots of friends there, so i could double-task.

I want to meet you too.....but I bet that will happen sooner rather than later since I will be in your neck of the woods soon after this baby pops out!!
My ideal GTG would be anywhere it is warm and there are beaches with cabana boys. As much as I love my DH and my boys.....an ideal GTG would be easiest without them-traveling with soon-to-be 3 kids is going to be A LOT of work

Orlando - for all the reasons you listed but I'd vote for Sept/Oct since it's much cheaper and the food and WINE festival will be on!

My ideal GTG would be in the bone marrow unit this fall with Kimarino and LVB. It just might happen too.

That sounds pretty awesome to me too! I'm so glad you've made such amazing friends here and would love to hear that Kate was treated with some SAIF love (well, just want her to find a match period, but if it came from one of our girls, even better!)
DH says he wants a "Dad's night" wherever we go.
On that note, special props to BrownEyedGirls DH for hanging out tonight and countering all that estrogen (some natural and some synthetic ; P

My SIL and her gals did a 3 night cruise from FL (Bahamas? who cares) and they had a BLAST! super cheap, they snuck a TON of booze on board (we always have, too) and you never have to worry about driving, what to eat, etc.
To me, that seems sooo perfect for this gang of hood'lums.
(vacationstogo dot com has a great search feature, last minute cruises are REALLY cheap, too.) If this cycle doesn't work, there WILL be an impromtu "WTF Let's Drank!" cruise next month, trust me! (and I hate cruises. lol)

I'd love Austin, Pittsburgh, Chicago (couldn't make it last year), or Seattle because all of them are familiar territory for me, but if I were choosing a dream location, how about Hawaii? Haha. Okay, I'd probably say San Diego or thereabouts. I've never been there and would love some beach time with my ladies!

I would want to go to Austin or Dallas. However, I would also do Vegas, or San Diego, as I can fly there cheaply on Southwest.

Orlando area would be a lot of fun for all our families! So much to do around there! We could just plan our annual trip down around the GTG.
LOL hey is the one who refused to stay back at the hotel with the kids and wanted the babysitter to come with us down to DC. He is also the one who refused to stay home with any of the kids
I'd love a west coast GTG too! I could actually swing that one.
