  • 1st DD started pulling herself up at around 8 1/2 months, tool her first steps at 11 1/2 months and completely walking after she turned a year-so 3 months from pulling herself up to first steps

2nd DD started pulling herself up at around 8 1/2 months as well, and just took her first steps this week, so 2 months.

  • I think it was about 2 or 3 months after pulling up that DS started walking independantly (which was 1wk before he turned 8mos)

  • LO started pulling up at 9 months or so and is two weeks shy of her first birthday and is cruising but not walking on her own. She will walk if we hold her hands. I hear it can take 3-4 months for some.
  • Gavin was pulling up at about 8 months. No walking yet.

  • He started pulling up  at 7.5 months, cruising around 8ish months, and started walking last week. He's not a full on walker, but is up to around 15 steps and tries to walk all day long. So about 2 months.

i think I'd be pulling my hair out if I were you! I can't imagine LO walking already! I'm exhausted already and she JUST started crawling.

Bahaha, I know, Right!!! It was like he was on a dang mission to keep up with SO & I or something. He is now into everything; my lower back hurts; I'm exhausted by the time I go to work at night; and to top it off he is now trying to climb things & has had some "success",I guess you would say, that I'm not happy about (I.e. coffee table). DS never gave us a chance to enjoy his pre-crawling or crawling stages Sad

  • Started pulling up sometime after 10 months, didn't take first steps until a couple weeks ago, JUST started walking short distances (ie: across the kitchen or living room) today. So almost 3 months.

  • He's been cruising for a couple of months now; doesn't look like he'll be really walking anytime soon though!

DD has been pulling up for about 3 months now. She can cruise and walks by pushing toys around (her stroller and any toy she can stand and push), but has only taken a few steps on her own.
  • J is pulling up, but not walking yet.

I think it was 3 months from pulling up to first steps...and another month until full on walking for N.

  • She's been pulling up on everything for at least a month. No walking yet.

In the last three days or so, she's gotten REALLY interested though... yesterday she kept pulling up and letting go and trying to stand up on her own. Ack.

  • It was about 5 months for DD1. She started pulling up and cruising around 8.5 months, first steps at 11.5 months, and walking at 13 months.

DD2 started pulling up on our hands at 6 months. She started pulling up and cruising around 8.5 months. Just this last week (almost 11 months), she started taking a few steps at a time. I think she'll be walking in a week or two.

DD started pulling herself up at 6 months.

A couple days ago (9 months 3 weeks) she took 4 steps. Still very unbalanced though.. a couple steps and a nose dive is what's been happening.
