Someone please remind me that there is no such thing as holding her too much. When she falls asleep at my in-laws they always want to put her in the crib... and then leave the room.
You know what...I really enjoy that too. Unfortunately, I still have raging carpal tunnel (and now I think I've also tweaked my wrist somehow) so I can't hold him for too long. Boo.
I do love the fact that sometimes me holding him is the only thing that'll calm him down though. That's a special thing between us.
There are only maybe 2 or 3 hours out of every day when I'm not holding my baby boy. Soak it up while you can! Too soon he's going to be mobile and too interested in other things to snuggle with mommy...
