Do you like it? Anything you don't like?
We went house hunting today and as much as I'd prefer to be as close to central Austin as possible, our money just goes so much farther 10 minutes further out. We really love a house we found in Cedar Park. The people I know that live there love it, but would love other opinions as well!

Re: Do you live in cedar park?
My address is *technically* Austin, but I live right on the border. We like it. I like that we're so close to Brushy Creek Park and that we have easy access to 183.
Now, of course, I would love to be closer in- but I much prefer being a SAHM and living in Cedar Park than needing to find a job to be able to live in Austin proper.
We're kind of the opposite of MC. Technically we're in CP, but we're in Travis Co on the border of Austin. If you didn't know my mailing address you would think we live in Austin.
I love it, though. I take the back way (2222) to get into Central Austin and downtown, and it's pretty dang quick even in rush hour. It's convenient to all the north suburbs (Leander, RR, Pflugerville, Lakeway, Jonestown, Lago Vista), although it's a pain to get to S Austin. If you take 620 around Lake Travis you can skip most of the traffic though.
