TTC with Met and PCOS

Anyone have success getting pregnant with PCOS while taking Metformin???? I just started Met today 500mg daily.

    Welcome to the board. Check out the T-TTC blog link in my siggy. Most of us have never been pregnant. Check out either pregnant after infertility or success after infertility for that. Good luck

    I dont have any advice for you.  I have PCOS but have never used metformin. Do you know you have two, almost identical, back-to-back posts?

    Welcome. There are plenty of Met / PCOS success stories but you'll find them on the PAIF board or other pregnancy boards. We're all (im)patiently waiting our turn here. Did your dr go over the slow ramp up of your Met dosage? Take it slowly - the side effects are unpleasant. Good luck and hope your stay here is short.

    I have not gotten pregnant yet, but Met is making me ovulate (something I never did before).

    Yes, I am aware. I meant for it to actually post in another board. My Dr. told me that the Metformin will help with insulin which is associated with PCOS and ovulation...so i'm giving it a shot!
