Will promise to still visit here -- a great group of ladies are here. I mostly lurk but post every now and then. Have had such good support and advice here. Thanks from the bottom of my heart :-) My husband and I are now on the road to domestic infant adoption. We have our first meeting on July 9. But are getting the ball rolling with paperwork ASAP. It's so neat how the Lord works - just TWO weeks ago I had no desire to adopt. I wanted to be pregnant again. He quickly reminded me that wasn't my ultimate goal. My goal was to complete our family - however it happened. DH and I talked it over, got super advice from LRRB :-) and found and agency we fell in love with. We have a long long road to go but our hearts are changing and we are trusting in His plan to complete our family. I'm excited For this new journey! I can already feel the hurt in my heart healing - although, I have a long way to go. There will be bumps and disappointments, I know. But what's new? See you ladies around! I think of you often :-) Edited to add: we were supposed to be attempting IUI this month but we have decided to stop all fertility treatments for now. I need to focus all my energy on our new journey :-)

Wonderful! Looking forward to seeing you over there! I always tell everyone when I tell our story that God totally did amazing work on my heart. In November '09 after our 5 th loss, I didn't think I could ever be ok w/ not experiencing a full term pregnancy, I thought it was the end of the world. In December after a long drive, lots of talking to DH and lots ofnpraying, my heart changed. We couldn't be more blessed. For the first time in a very long time I am able to say that I love my life. I cant imagine not being my sweet Noah's mother. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I couldn't see it all those awfu years, but God had a bigger More amazing plan for us than anything I had ever wanted or imagined.
