i gave ds yogurt when he was about 7 1/2 - 8 months, but he was spitting up to much, so after that try with the yogurt i waited until he was 9 1/2 months to try again and now he does great with it.. this is my personal experience other babies do better with the yogurt at 7-8 months, but i would still ask the doctor about it and see what he thinks..
DD as been eating yobaby since 7 months and she absolutely loves it. It is our fall back when she doesn't want anything else to eat. we can't get it in her mouth quick enough. I started out giving it to her at snack time and now it's usually her lunch with bananas. her favorite
We started DD a few weeks ago and she loves it. We started with Plain YoBaby yogurt and she didn't like it too much,,she would only take like 1/2 of the container. Then we gave her Vanilla and Banana YoBaby and she finishes the container.
Per our ped, 7 months. I get plain, full fat organic yogurt (Yo Baby has added sugar) and I usually give it to him a few times a week, mixed with something. We tried cottage cheese yesterday and DS is NOT a fan! Lots of gagging and dismayed looks.
I tried to offer it to dd a few times at 7.5 months, but she would have nothing to do with it. Lots of nose wrinkling and gagging...maybe it's to tangy for her tastes. We'll try again in 2 weeks.
We started yobaby last week and he LOVES LOVES LOVES it... pretty much like every thing else he's tried. I swear, he's going to be the least. pickiest. eater. ever.
Re: what age did you start yogurt?

We started at 9 1/2 months and he hated it! Yobaby was too sour or something. So I mix it with prunes and he'll eat it.
Cottage cheese, on the other hand, he LOVES!
