I'm planning on telling DS today that I'm pregnant and then want to make a Facebook announcement. I was waiting until after my anatomy scan, which was the other day. I think I'm going to say something about DS becoming a big brother, but sort of feel the need to mention my losses in some way. I mentioned one on my original EDD, but obviously, not everyone sees everything you post. I'm still worried that I'll get a comment like, "It's about time!" or "I was wondering when you were going to have another" (not as bad as the first, but still). But I'm also not looking for sympathy or anything. Any suggestions?

Re: Suggestions for Facebook announcement?
Maybe something like "Our long awaited baby" or "God has finally blessed us..." etc so people get the hint that you had been trying so the insensititve "It's about time" comments don't appear. GL!

My status was:
Here it is?the official ?We?ve managed to make one plus one equal three? Facebook announcement: We are expecting a HEALTHY baby girl in July (so far, all signs are pointing to ?take-home-able?).
In case procreation status updates leave you wondering how to respond, the following flow chart should prove useful: https://reface.me/humor/facebook-pregnancy-comment-flowchart/
I "came out" last Oct 15 on FB, so anyone who happened to read my status update on that date was aware of our losses.

There are some really good suggestions here.
I vote that if you do happen to get an awkward comment that you call them on it. If someone says it's about time (or the like), just flat out say that you've had a loss. Sometimes people just don't think before they say things, you know?

~All AL'ers welcome~
I would either say something like, "Our long-awaited miracle due ___", or "After much wishing, hoping, and heartache, we are thrilled to announce that we are expecting ____"
Hopefully, people will get the hint! If anyone makes a rude comment, definitely call them on it, whether publicly or privately.
This is so funny to me because I was the same way. When trying to have my son, I ALWAYS tried to figure out my EDD months in advance. More recently, I just stopped allowing myself to until I got a positive test. Of course, that didn't stop me from thinking about other stuff and still knowing what month the baby would be born in!
