Re: This board is pretty quiet, don't you think?

  • *whispering*---Yes. Smile

I've been meaning to make a post about how we're doing IVF in August/September, but I'm soooo not even ready to think, let alone write about it too much.

Update to come, when I stop being a chicken and deal.

And if this is about the girl who got all butthurt, I was glad Suntoto said what she did. Honestly, I'm pretty sure I noticed, (and lurked on), this board the first day I came to TTCAL. Maybe before.

If it makes you feel any better, we're doing IVF, again, in July/August, when this last IUI with Femara doesn't work. It is a scary, super scary (aside from the financial aspect) if you just take it one step at a time, it really isn't that bad. Everyone here "held my hand" through the whole process and cheered me on and that made it a little easier. I hope everyone is ready for me to do it again.

  • Is it good or bad that it is quiet on this board?  Does that mean that there are less people here because so many have graduated?  Or are those of us that are here just too tired of it to talk about anything?

Mostly this for me.  And because I have no news to share.  With no tubes there isn't any TTC so my life is now different.

It's going.  We have a foster baby right now and things are up in the air legal wise with her.  We are hoping to adopt but there is no way of knowing until everything gets figured out in the courts.  So.... we wait.  In the mean time I start injections for IVF in a few days.  Oh joy.

    Have a super great weekend!

It has been a bit quiet over here, although I haven't been on the boards much myself.

I am in the process of starting IVF #2 right now!!  I am on BCP's until Sunday the 19th.  Then my baseline appt. is on the 22nd and I will start stims on the 24th.  I am doing the antagonist/ganirelix protocol this time.

I am very nrevous myself.  While this is our 2nd IVF cycle - it will be our last (unless we win the lottery) - so there is a lot of pressure along with it.  Although, there are some things I am not as nerved up about.

I hope we get a lot of good news on here this summer!!!

Yeah this is me - I don't know how many times I can say the same depressing things. This cycle didn't work..again. I ovulated for the first time in a year...but nothing came of it. I did get a whole bunch of new cysts on my  left ovary. DH and I have been talking a lot more about what our lives will look like if we can't have our own kids. We are (at this point) not interested in adoption (bad experiences with C&Y) so that is my update...
