How would you pronounce Briony?
BRY-uh-nee is how I always thought it was pronounced, but after seeing the blog post in the thread below, I'm not so sure/

that's how I pronounce it...

I thought it was Bree-uh-nee but looked it up and they said Bry-uh-nee (bry rhyming with fry). I don't like that pronunciation and it reminds me too much of brian. Which is odd considering I know a Brianna and she says it as Bree-ahn-a.
I never watched Atonement though.

This. I went to school with a Briony and that's how she pronounced it. I prefer it over Bry-uh-nee, but I like that pronunciation too
Like Brian with a "y" on the end. "Brian-ee."
They say the name a LOT in the movie "Atonement," and that's how they pronounce it.
