Peeing after C-Section

I ended up having a c-section at the last minute, after being in labor for 36 hours and pushing for 3.5 hours. I did get an epidural about 8 hours before my c-section and had a catheter. Since I had my baby I have no urge to pee. None. I can pee just fine if I remember to go, but until my side hurts and I realize I haven't peed in 10 hours I don't realize it. Is this normal? When does it go away? After feeling like I had to pee every 2 minutes for the last few months it was nice for a minute, but it just doesn't seem right.

    totally not alone. I had to remember to pee for a few days afterward. Even after our 4 day hospital stay, I had to remember to go. I think about 6 days afterward my body started to remind on its own.
