NSAIFR: Birthday Cake Collapsed

I finished DS cake yesterday but during transporting it to the party location (my parents house) the 2 top tiers slid and the cake was bulging etc. It's chilling in my parent's fridge to see if I can save it-but I think I'm going to be picking up a cake from Costco to cut and serve.

I am so sad about this-but I know it's not the end of the world. I'm hoping that's the worst thing that could happen in relation to his party today.

I cannot believe I have a one year old!

I am sorry. It must be disappointing that you can't use the cake it sounds like you put a lot of effort into making it perfect. LO's party will still be fabulous though!! I am wishing him a happy birthday! It's sad they grow-up so fast, isn't it!?

I feel your pain. I made cupcakes and my chocolate all exploded in the oven last night. I had to run out and get a box cake mix and new cupcake holders to make the chocolate cupcakes. I was up all night re-doing them, just to have them from a box

I hope your cake can re-settle, I'm sure you all will have a great time regardless. Happy birthday to you and your LO!!
