I am going to try to incorporate some more interactive/fun stuff into our days this summer when Charlotte is home with me (two days a week) and on the weekends. I found a book at Barnes and Noble today, but I'm not positive it's what I'm looking for, so thought I'd see if anyone has any good recs.
Note: I am NOT CRAFTY at all, so simple crafts would be the best (and not too expensive...like, pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks are totally up my alley). I'm looking for something that combines crafts, activities (like maybe preschool science-y type stuff)....help!
Re: Can anyone recommend a good craft/activity book for 3 y/o range?
not a book - but check out this blog if you haven't before:

That is an awesome site. Lots of ideas. Family Fun magazine also has fun ideas in both the magazine and on the website.
Unplugged Play is a great one. I use it a lot during the summers. It's divided by age group, from toddler to age 10 or so, and also by kinds of play/crafts: playing by themselves, parent/child play, small and large group play, etc. I highly recommend it.
