Prenatal Education in Scottsdale

Does anyone have any recommendations for prenatal education classes. I was trying to go through my hospital, Scottsdale Healthcare. They just cancelled a class dues to low registration and then don't offer it again until June and we are out of town the one weekend they have it scheduled.  This is my first baby and would like to take several classes if I could. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you so much. Big Smile

    Was it Shea or Osborn who canceled on you? It seemed like Shea had a bunch of classes when I was pregnant. Maybe call because if it is full, they take it off the site- but if they canceled the other one, maybe they can get you into a full one.

    The Destination Maternity store in North Scottsdale offer several classes in partnership with Scottsdale Healthcare. You can check their schedule online too.

    Thanks! I will try the Destination Maternity store. Just took a prenatal yoga class from them today. It was good! The class was originally scheduled at the Shea location. They didn't have enough people to hold the class.

    What type of birth experience are you looking for? I teach the Bradley Method which is a comprehensive natural childbirth class that covers relaxation, coaching, nutrition, exercise, postpartum and baby care. I live in Queen Creek, which is probably way to far for you, but we have teachers all over the valley. You can check out www.bradleybirth.com if you want more info or to find a teacher near you!
