Our regular babysitter just graduated and left the area.  I put an ad on Sitter City and got 65 applications in 24 hours!   Craziness!  I think every college kid in the state must be on there!

    What is the hourly rate of sitters from Sitter City?  Or do the sitters set their own price?  Also, what is the monthly fee?

    You put in your 'ad' how much you're willing to pay.  We usually pay $15/hour.

    Got another 10 applicants over night.  THis is insane.

    You do get a ton of applicants but most of them don't reply to follow up emails.  I had the same experience a few months ago.  I emailed probably 15 back and only a handful got back to me.  I found a few good ones but had to weed through a lot.
