Yep, it has arrived in our house. As of yesterday, Nora started letting out an ear-piercing shriek, sometimes when she's happy, other times when she's mad. Good times. I'm trying to ignore it as much as possible in hopes that it goes away quickly. That was really hard to do this morning when she shrieked at our high-strung cat and scared the crap out of him -- I had to seriously stifle a laugh.
Anybody else dealing with this lovely phenomenon?
Re: Pterodactyl shriek
Yes... I've been calling it his "raptor screech" since it is easier to spell than pterodactyl.
Well, at least my kid is not the only one who does this... and I do have to admit it's pretty funny.
I just put her down in her crib, and she is rolling around screeching at the moment. Hopefully she sleeps soon!
