Postpartum Girdle Post-Cesarean?

I'm 1 week postpartum (had a C-Section), and I'm wanting to start wearing my postpartum girdle. I'm not quite sure where I should be positioning the girdle, or if wearing it will irritate my incision, which is horizontal right below the bikini line. Anyone wearing a postpartum girdle (even if you delivered vaginally), what has your experience been so far?

I was given one at the hospital 1 day post c/s and have worn it every day since. I love mine and it's been a god send. I was told to wear it lower and have it come down to my hips, and it has done nothing to my incision which is right at my bikini line.

This. I also wear a plain maxi pad over the incision to protect it.

I started wearing mine about 2 says post delivery. It felt so much better to have some sort of support. I also wear it low so that it comes over the hips and doesn't rub on the incision. I have had not problems with the incision at all.
