How much does your BF 10 week old eat at a time?

Do you know how much they eat in a 24 hour period?

How much does your 10 week old weigh?

I'm trying to see if Jules is on track...I feel that she's so much bigger than she should be! Right now she eats 4oz at least every 2 hours, except for naps and at nighttime. She normally STTN, but lately has been waking up around 5am for a feeding. She normally eats 32 oz total for the day though. At her 8w appointment she was 11.6 lbs and I swear she's already 13 lbs now, but haven't weighed her.

Also, if your LO is older than 10 weeks, at what point have you switched to larger bottles?

DD is 10 weeks adjusted on Monday. She is getting weighed today but our guess is 13-14 lbs. She eats 4 oz every 3 hours while I am at work, I have no idea what she eats when I BF, but she eats every 2 hours so probably a little less. At night she can go 8 hours without eating, but not always.

My DS is......huge.

He is 16 lbs. 3 oz. and eats every 3.5-4 hours, 4-5 oz., and sleeps 7-9 hours straight over night. So I am guessing he eats somewhere between 24-30 oz. He was 9 lbs. 4 oz. at birth and I was shocked that he'd gained about 7 lbs. in 2 months because he never cluster fed or had any spurts of eating 1-2 hours and he has never gotten up more than 1-2 times at night. I am guessing that he is just an efficient nurser because he can do both sides in 10-15 minutes.

I am very curious to know if any other babies out there are close to his weight (he is also 25 inches long though).

DS is EBF so I have no idea how many oz he eats per day. But he eats for 10-15 min every 2-3 hours during the day, and every 3-5 hours at night. And at 9 weeks he was 12 lbs 6 oz, and now at 12 weeks he's just over 13 lbs.

No idea how much he's getting per day since I EBF, but he eats every 2-3 hours during the day, cluster feeds in the evening, and has been sleeping 7-9 hours at night. At his 2 month check he was 11 lbs 8 oz (7 lbs 5 oz at birth).

We are very similar. at 10 weeks 11lbs 2 oz and 22.25". Same eatting pattern. She was 6lbs 10oz at birth.

How much does your BF 10 week old eat at a time? Not sure how much she's getting from the breast, but I have to assume at least 4oz. When she takes a bottle, it's 5-6 ounces. I feed her 10-15 mins each side, usually.

Do you know how much they eat in a 24 hour period? No idea. She eats 5-6 times a day and probably gets 4-5 ounces each time, so 20-30 ounces a day, perhaps?

How much does your 10 week old weigh? She was 13lbs 5 oz at 11w (8/13 at birth).

I switched to bigger bottles at about 10w. She was guzzling down the 4.5 ounces I could fit in the 4oz liners, so I tried 5oz in the bigger liner and she took it all. At 11w I went to 5.5-6oz, and she still takes it all without spitting up.

We FF, but I'll answer anyway. My DS is 12 weeks old now and he had a growth spurt between 10-11 weeks.

How much does your 10 week old eat at a time? 4-5 oz every 2-3 hours (so 8 or 9 bottles a day).

Do you know how much they eat in a 24 hour period? It varies depending on the number of ounces and how many feedings.

How much does your 10 week old weigh? He hasn't been to the doctor since his 2 month appointment, but I'd estimate him to be around 14 lbs. He's 25 inches long right now.

Also, if your LO is older than 10 weeks, at what point have you switched to larger bottles? We switched to bigger bottles when he started eating 4 oz at a time. It was tricky to put 4 oz of water in the 4 oz bottles and then try to fit 2 scoops of formula on top without overflowing. You'd have to add the formula a little bit at a time and that was a pain in the rear.

Our doctor is happy with DS' feeding schedule and weight. The doctor remarks that Aaron is "well fed, healthy and happy". Works for me!

My LO is 11 weeks. She was 10 lbs 11 oz at 8 weeks and I'm guessing she's getting close to 12 lbs now. She was 23" and definitely seems longer now too. She eats 13 oz while I'm at work across 4 feedings, and then typically has another 3-4 feedings at home from me. I'd guesss she's eating somewhere around 25-30 oz a day.
