My mom gave me a bag full of fresh tomatoes from the garden, and I can't stop eating them! They're so good with vinegar, salt and pepper.. mmm! I know my mouth is going to break out any day now from all the acid.
I'm also loving pickles, olives, spicy pickled okra and anything with mustard. Salty, vinegary goodness!
Re: I can't stop eating tomatoes
I crave salt and anything sour/acidic even when I'm not pregnant....but when I am pregnant, I can't seem to get enough.
Mmmm tomatoes....I cut myself up a big one the other night while watching TV. Yum. I also use them to fill my need of grabbing a quick fruit since I'm allergic to apples. I just grab one out of the fridge and away I go. I've never really met/heard of anyone else who eats tomatoes like I do!

At least its tomatoes and not chips. Last week all I wanted to eat was all dressed chips. This week it's blueberries. I bought two costco sized containers yesterday and one is pretty much completely gone, DS helped but really it was mostly me.
I'm also liking more spicy food which is weird because I hate spicy food, I can't even put pepper on my food. I guess that would explain the huge amount of heartburn.
I wish i could have a big, juicy tomato but they are giving me horrendous heartburn!
I do that too, but not out of the fridge, I find they taste mealy faster when in the fridge.
I've also been eating a lot of tomatoes lately. I've gone through 6 this week so far. I've also been eating peaches this week. I have always refused to eat a peach because the fuzz creeps me out (I had to peel it first), but I don't seem to care as much now. The first bite is a little iffy, but once I get through that, it's great.
My grandmother had her own little farm and would eat tomatoes just like apples, too.
