Out of surgery

I am in recovery waiting for the spinal to wear off. I will update with more details later or in the morning. Long story short is they did the cerclage just in time. I didn't get taken back until 5:30 because the hospital is full. I was 2 cm dilated by the time of surgery but they were able to do 2 stitches which is ideal. The doctor sounded optimistic. By the end of surgery they had gained a bit of length back and the cervix was closed tight. I will be discharged tomorrow on strict bedrest at home for at least 2 weeks.

I just got home from work and have been catching up, have been thinking of and praying for you. I am so, so happy they were able to get the cerclage done. I cry every time I think of you, I can't imagine how you are feeling. Keep on growing in there baby boy! Your mama is one strong lady.
