So, my husband has been lucky to be somewhere for a few weeks now on this deployment where he has internet access. It's been great because I have gotten to skype with him a couple of times, and he has been able to send some pictures to me, and he was sweet enough to go online and order some onesies for our baby girl.
I got a package from him in the mail yesterday with a spread of onesies of our favorite college and nfl teams from him. Baby girl is now all set for football season! I thought it was so sweet of him to think of her.

Also, had to share this picture he sent me of him "cuddling" a wild goat. Such a big bad marine...

HAHAHA I freaking love the goat picture!! Marines are the biggest goofballs ever- I should know, I'm married to one too
That's so sweet he ordered his baby girl some cute onesies!!
My DH is a drill instructor right now, and he left late last night to take his recruits on the crucible. I jokingly told one of the other DI's he works with to remember to have the recruits sing him happy birthday (poor DH lucked out this year and his bday landed on the crucible!), and he told me he totally had them singing this morning!!! I'm seriously hoping someone got that on video, because it would be PRICELESS!! "happy birthday drill instructor sgt c___!! happy birthday to you!!" LOL

Here is a pic of my DH. Marines aren't as big and bad as everyone things they are. I know deployments suck and I can't imagine having to so threw this pregnancy with out my husband here with me. Just stick with it if your husband plans to stay in there will be more deployments and duty stations that neither one of you like. But the end result is well worth it. Good luck and I hope that your husband makes it back soon safe and sound
Aw, so adorable! I love the goat picture.
My husband had just gotten back to Afghanistan after R&R when we found out I was pregnant. A week later a box from crossfit arrived with these adorable boy and girl onesies. He said that they were on sale and he couldn't help himself.
hehehe... cute.
