OB/GYN in Katy/Sugar Land area?

Good afternoon!  Does anyone have any recommendations for an OB/GYN in the Katy or Sugar Land areas?  Also, are there any hospitals in those areas that you would recommend or not recommend (also to use for criteria in selecting a doctor)?  I am new to the area and while I am not pregnant yet, I am due for my well woman exam soon, and would like to choose a doctor that I can start to build a relationship with before I do get pregnant.  TIA!

    There are several good dr's in that area and I know a few of ladies on this board can give some suggestions.
    I have seen Dr. Steven Rockman for the last 6 years and I couldn't be happier.

    I deliverered both of my kids at Memorial Hermann Katy and will deliver this little one there, too.  But I have heard great things about Christus St. Catherine as well.

    I really like Premier ObGyn- I saw Dr. Patronella but I hear Dr Schmidt is awesome also.

    I currently am seeing Joseph Johns - I really like the practice and he is very complete.

    For hospitals- I really prefer Katy Memorial Hermann. I've visited all the Katy hospitals and found this one to be best. Of course this is just my opinion- but I've had numerous friends deliver there (both uncomplicated and very complicated deliveries) and they all thought the service was great. I also thought the new unit at Methodist was nice- but since it's brand new I haven't been able to find anyone to give a first hand report of how their service was.

    Ditto Premier ObGyn.  I saw Dr Schmidt and she was amazing.  I got the rec. from the ladies on here before I moved here and am so glad I chose her.  We delivered at the Memorial Hermann in Katy and loved the experience.  Great facility and the nurses and very nice!

    I'm a little late (ok, really late) responding back to this, but thank you.  I'm glad to see the recommendations for Premier ObGyn, that's where I was thinking of switching to before I decided I should ask for some unsolicited advice.  Thanks again!
