Maybe it's a little early, but now that we're over the 9 month hump...I feel the 1st birthday approaching fast! So I'm thinking backyard BBQ with Dylan's baby friends/parents and our close friends. We are going to Florida the week before, so my family will most likely not attend since we'll have just seen them...but Alan's parents will be here for sure. I'm thinking it's more for the adults anyways and a little play time for the babies. I'm sure Alan will break out the ladder golf as well. ![]()
SO this is the basics of it. Besides eating his first cake, is there anything special you did for your LO's first birthday?
Re: Baby's 1st Birthday Party
That sounds like fun. I learned (in case we ever have another) that the simpler and easier the better. It's an important birthday, but other than pictures, LO will never remember and this birthday especially is basically for the adults and family.
We stuck to just our close family, but our LO's weren't in daycare or anything like that and didn't really have a lot of baby friends.
The BBQ idea is good, and a little something for the kids there, but the simpler the better
I love the first year slideshow playing at a party. Too sweet.
I can't believe he's almost 1:)
