Hi! Has anyone else had their tubes flushed/HSG during their period? If so, how was it?
My doctor scheduled mine for tomorrow, which will be day 3 of my cycle. I did double check when making the apt, and they said it was OK, but I'm not so sure! Doesn't seem like that would be very pleasant for the doctor!
Thanks Ladies

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

This is what I've read in my research. It's specifically done after you're done bleeding and before you ovulate.

I just had mine today on CD7. I was still having a teensy bit of spotting. My facility said I should be done with my period before having the procedure done.
Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! I guess I will just go to my apt. and double check AGAIN that they are 100% sure it do-able. I wasn't even thinking about the cost, if it doesn't work!

*Update....Just in case anyone else comes across this in the same situation....
I went to my apt. today (on CD 3) and my doctor did the procedure. He said it was no big deal to still be on my period, and everything went great! No problems with the picture, and not even that messy!
I guess every doctor has their own timeframe for doing the HSG, though I think the most important thing is to do it before anyone could be pregnant!
