So talk about a delayed response.....

Those potato hash brown patties I was talking about are McCain. They have corn and soy in them, so I don't know if they would be off limits for your son (I forget what allergies you're dealing with).

If you do find suitable patties, my word of caution is that they're tricky to use as bread/buns. They fall apart easily one you put condiments on them and they are a bit messy to eat. Fine for me since I have bigger hands, but a LO might have some issues. Smile

    thanks for letting me know.  My DS can't have soy. I actually tried making some hashbrown patties on my own recently and it was a huge fail so i'm going to try again.   I just remember my house smelled like it was on fire for a day after i attempted to make hashbrown. lol.

    Lol! this happens at my house quite frequently when my GF recipes don't turn out exactly as planned.... Tongue Tied
