So annoyed with Nicholas' preschool (long)

When I registered N for preschool in Feb, there were 3 options. 2 days/wk (Tues, Thurs), 3 days/wk (Tue,Wed,Thurs) or 4 days (Mon thru Thurs). I wanted to sign him up for 3 days, but due to his Speech Therapy being on Wednesday 10:30 AM, school is from 9-1 (we can't change this due to my and my DH work schedule, plus his teacher only works part time) we can't do Wed. So I spoke to the director when we first got the registration for the fall (2011-2012 year) telling her my concerns. She said since it was so early, I could write on the form what days I wanted N to go. There is a spot where you circle the days. So I circled Mon, Tues, Thurs (so instead of going on Wed, he'll go on Mon). Everything was honky dory. Or so I thought.
The director has left the school (she's pg, due in July and decided not to come back in the fall) and now there is a new one. I emailed the new director to make sure Nicholas was still okay to go Mon, Tues and Thursday (instead of Tues thru Thurs). I said it was on his form. So she emails me back saying there is nothing on his registration about Mon, Tues, Thurs. (??????) She then says she can;t offer that option since it wasn;t approved by the board. My options are to sign him up for 4 days a week (and just not send him on Wed, but still pay for 4 days- this doesn't seem fair). Keep the 3 days option and have his Speech Teacher come to the school (I need to talk w/her about this and see if she would), or Just sign him up for 2 days a week instead (but I really wanted the 3 days).
I emailed new director back and said the previous director told me to just write it on his form what days I wanted him to go. So I did. (wish I photocopied it so I could point it out to her). I told her to call me so we can discuss this further.
I'm just really annoyed.

I am assuming his school is close to your home correct? If that is the case his Speech therapist should be able to go to his school. As long as it is within your county and his services are through EI it should be fine!
I would not pay for 4 days week if he isn't going to be there 4 days!
Actually, his school is not close to my house. It's a 20-25 minute drive one way. I'm sure you're asking yourself "Well why doesn;t she just send him to a preschool that's closer". The reason is because this particular school is: a) close to my mom and my sister- so they could pick him up on days that I work. and b) My niece and nephew both went to this school, and my sister loves it and I trust her opinion.
And yeah I am not paying for 4 days and only sending him 3 days. That's not an option.
I would be annoyed that the first woman said it might be okay if it wasn't. Or maybe there was a mix up in communication between you two, and she thought you were up in the air as to which days?
I can see how the new director wouldn't want to be making exceptions to the schedule since she is new. She probably doesn't want to be reprimanded.
To me, it sounds like you are going to have to do two days unless your speech therapist will go to the school (and that the school has a place to accommodate that as well).

The first thing I am going to do is talk to Nicholas' Speech Teacher and see if she is willing to go to the school every Wed morning. If she says yes then I'll ask the school if it's okay with them. Otherwise he'll just have to go 2 days a week for now.
