Cousin: Sad, but I'm over it.

Ok, so same cousin went back to Dr who gave her 'hope' and the pregnancy is over. So we can move on now, she called to tell me and I told her, "I'm sorry hon, its hard, but you will get through it." Then she tells me that she doesn't know because she's been trying already for over 2 and a half years.

Okay, so you would feel sorry for her, but she's lying. She's been trying for less than one year. She didn't even know her husband 2 and a half years ago. It just bugs me that she'd pepper a sad situation with a lie in order to gain more sympathy.

I have sympathy for her now that she lost the pregnancy, but this has been dragged out for almost 2 weeks now. I'm just ready to move on. I can't talk to her anymore because it depresses the sh!t out of me.

I'd just step away from the situation for a bit. Given that you're pregnant, it's plausible that you'd not want to cause her more pain!

I feel bad for her too - but it sounds like this situation is going to get milked for all it's worth for a long time to come. She'll always want the pity party. I just hope she doesn't continue it throughout your pregnancy and make you miserable.....good luck with her.....

She found out at 10 weeks that the baby stopped growing at 8 weeks.

I agree with PlannedChaos... You need some time for yourself. It seems the present situation is more toxic for you than anything... You need to take care of you and your little twins! *hug*
