We are going to look at cribs today. I have my baby bargains book as a guide : ) What crib do you have, and are you happy with your purchase? I would love to hear some reviews : )
We have the Graco Lauren. I believe it was about $130 from Babies R Us. We had a 25% off coupon. They also sell it at Target and sometimes have a deal where you can get the matching changing table for free. It was easy to put together and looks nice. I like it because it's pretty basic looking and was reasonably priced, pretty middle of the road - not too cheap and not real expensive.
We also have the Graco Lauren for this baby (we havent put it together yet but I've heard nothing but good reviews) We got it at walmart.com and it came with the mattress for 139.00.
For my son we have the Baby Mod Roxanne. We also got that one at Walmart.com but I dont see it on there anymore. We like it and think it was well made. I also like that it has a drawer under it.
We have the Baby Italia Eastside convertible crib from BRU. We love it, but I definitely recommend getting the crib rail covers for when your baby starts cutting teeth and standing up in the crib. I didn't think Gabriel would chew his crib, and he did. I have some teeth scratches, however, I think that would happen with any wood crib, not just this one.
