first fathers day.

i got dh a card that says a sweet little someone to follow in your footsteps, a new little love to fill your heart. and on the inside it says you're gonna be a great dad, happy fathers day.. whats something sweet to write in there. and also are any of you doing anything for dh for the first fathers day?

    Last year I got DH is own "manly" diaper bag.

    I got my SO a "soon to be" Father's Day card, a book he's been wanting, and a Philadelphia Eagles (he loooves them) onesie for our LO.

    I love love love the diaper bag idea! He wasn't thrilled about the one I wanted to register for so this would solve that dilema. Plus helping him get prepared with gear will help ease the worry about not being a good dad. He'll be amazing, he just doesn't see it yet. :)

    I definately want to do something, but haven't decided what to get/do.  The diaper bag idea is good, but I let DH help me pick ours so he would be willing to carry it if need be.  Maybe I'll just get him a nice card.

    I got my DH a picture frame with a poem in it. The poem is called Walk With Me Daddy and it made me tear up instantly. Google it, its really cute! :) I will put an ultrasound pic in it until the baby is born. I also got him a money clip (he uses them instead of a wallet) with some lines of a poem in it.

    I ordered DH a tshirt from personalizationmall and used code dadgrad15 for a discount. they have "first time" shirts/sweatshirts/mugs and I added the word Daddy.

    I like the I'm The Daddy scrubs, but they were too expensive for me right now.

    I don't know if it'll be financially possible for us, but I'm really hoping I can surprise DH with a comfy recliner for the living room.  He's always wanted one and I think he'll prefer feeding LO in it to the glider in the nursery.  At the very least, I'll definitely get him a card and maybe put in a picture of the recliner and say it's coming ;)

    I got him a card, a Derek Rose onesie and a gift certificate for a foot massage (He asks me for one after he golfs or plays basketball, which is every other day practically). We are moving a few days before Fathers Day so he will certainly have sore feet after that. :-)
