How can this be right?! (re: unsupervised visitation)

How can this be right, or even okay for that matter?!

Eventually, if STBXH passes a drug test and passes an anger management assessment he will be granted unsupervised visitation with LO.

I know he will take LO with him when he goes to his friends house (where they smoke pot and drink beer) - is there nothing I can do to protect LO from going there while she is in his care???

    I know how you feel. I'm in the same position/worrying about the same things. From what I hear, if they meet the previously mentioned conditions to get unsupervised visitation, then there isn't a whole lot you can do.

    I know!  I was talking about my concerns with my therapist (who does alot of work with batterers) and she agreed with me that there isnt much I can do. 

    I have a hard time understanding the psyche of a batterer and why they behave the way they do...it's terrible :(
