'Me dad's coming home today, I have two nurses in two different clinics scrambling around trying to solve my "Sludge Blood" issue, and I MIGHT NOT HAVE TO TAKE STEROIDS FOR THE NEXT 9 MONTHS!!!

Hey! I just got caught up on your previous post, hope you don't mind if I throw in a bit more of my 2 cents
My clotting disorders are absolutely "transient," just like you said!! They only show up when pregnant,(but for the MTHFR, of course, since its a mutation), and only went completely haywire when I was pregnant following fertility treatments.
"Transient" is the word my hematologist used to explain the fact that my clotting disorders (presumably) almost killed me, but then my tests came back negative 6 months later! He said there's so much about clotting disorders that we still don't know, so we chose the safest route and treated me with 80 mg Lovenox and LDA when subseequently pregnant.
Anyway, hope you don't mind me sharing. Can't wait to hear what you find out!
Woohooo!!! What a great day it is shaping up to be!

So I read through the whole post from last night and I'm surprised. In all your sluething I totally thought that funky blood had come up and been dismissed.
I'm trying to solve my own puzzle, without the possible pregnancy on the horizon, and similar issues are coming up. When we were in treatment, it was sort of at the edge of conversation, but never fully developed or investigated. My own personal health has taken a beating since then and I'm trying to parse out all the different issues and avenues to get well and this one is in my top 5.
DS is my Ava though and for him I had been on extra doses of folic acid as well as baby asparin. Three years of trying, including 8 gorgeous IUI cycles (only one with a beta above 5), and we got pg on our own after several months of OTC blood thinners. So yeah, things in that area seem fishy for me too.
and Furk, and arn't u the one w' metal in your jaw? We have somethin' in common....what?
I had the pos. APA prior to ivf, and f'u tests said no. But i've had ppl comment when drawing my blood, and there's a REASON I thicken up on estrace, or just a fluke on the timing.. What is it???? Hemo doc is making a plan as we speak. Sassy says he won't go near this, lol.

I'm going to call myself Furk from now on. I am the one with metal in my jaw. Do do have something in common and I wish I knew what it was. I've never had the APA test and it was actually something I swore I was going to do (like had a message into the doc) when I found out i was pg with DS.

The whole thing is so weird.
Yay for your dad going home! I've been wondering how he's been doing.
Sludge blood sounds like a really bad death metal band.
