Because I think this is needed tonight:
This message goes to everyone: While on clomid you should probably be with a RE, not an obgyn. Most do not monitor you as well as you should. However, I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule. You should go in for a baseline u/s to check for cysts BEFORE you start clomid and to check to make sure your lining it at an appropriate thickness and possibly for cd3 blood work. Then around cd10, you should go in for another u/s to check your lining, for cysts and to check to see how many mature follies you have. Yes, the lining issues and cysts are rare side effects but checking the follies should be reason enough. This will tell you and your dr if you're close to O and if you're responding well. AND if you're over responding (wanna be the next Kate + 8??)If needed, your dr might order another u/s for a few days down the road if you didn't have many or any mature follies. This monitoring is checking to make sure you and your reproductive system is safe and to give you optimal chances of conceiving.

Thanks for posting this.
I was px'ed Clomid (had the tests...) and I still haven't taken it b/c it makes me nervous. I'm giving my body another cycle to hopefully get in gear...
Gracias
as I was reading OP, I was thinking to myself "the lining thing really isn't all that rare at all" I've met quite a few girls here on the boards that all had the clomid created lack of lining.
