WTF appointment update

Basically it was a 'healthy debate', lol. I came with A LOT of questions and ideas for changing up the next one. He is not sold on the EPP and in fact told me it would be a nightmare to schedule because it might cause me to be delayed if too many people were already on the calendar when cd1 started and I would have already done 2 weeks+ of estrogen for nothing. He's willing to try, though, and allow me to take anything to blast and transfer 2 if they were B quality or better or 3 if not. Said he appreciated having a patient that had done their research. DW--you would have been proud of this mama tiger ;-) Anyway, I'm still not sure what we'll do. Think I'm going to get a second opinion or two since it will be August before we can cycle. ETA: he said his partner had warned him that I would be difficult, lmao!

Sounds like your meeting went well and you got some answers.

I think it was you that posted about going to get a second opinion at CCRM. I didn't get to respond but I think stepgirl went to CCRM if I am not mistaken. So, I would try and page her..

Also, my gf here in Fla actually went to CCRM, she moved from Fort Lauderdale to Colorado to go to them for a few months. Her IVF doctor who was the same as mine in Fla told her at her last failed cycle that she would NEVER concieve on her own and would have to use donor embryos. She didn't like those odds so she moved there to go to CCRM. She ended up getting pg with them doing some different protocal..I am not sure exactly what she did..but I can find out if you would like..Hope that helps!

Will do. Thank you for the info. I will definitely page her. The cost is just crazy but I like how convenient they have made it for out of towners and their success rates are awesome! Might be worth it to do one there vs. having to do two here. I have a phone consult set up for July.
